Ugly, but functional

Ive been using this app on an iPad 4, as a replacement for defunct Pulse. Not as nice as Pulse, the UI needs a complete overhaul in my opinion: everything is in your face at all times, the typography and layout is ugly. Seriously miss Pulse, still looking for a replacement, this app is not it.

The klunky UI is so bad it gets in the way of functionality as reviewing a large number of feeds with pix, headlines and captions is much slower than it should be.

I guess it is designed for text only use, but even used that way, the UI is intrusive and reviewing texts is header and slower than i can be.
